Tug of War is a quick local contest of repeated taps. Holding the control does not pull continuously, so find a rhythm you can maintain through several rounds. Both players' inputs are counted in the same update, which means equally timed pulls cancel each other. Winning the match takes three rounds rather than one sudden burst of effort.
Your goal: Pull the knot past your winning line and win three rounds in a best-of-five match.
Computers are supported. Phone orientation is a recommendation; rotation is never required.
Practice against AI or play together. Tap your own half; held keys or long touches do not add repeated pulls.
Yes. Choose AI practice or the default Local two-player mode. The left player presses A; the right player presses L, with on-screen pull buttons also available.
The first player to win three rounds wins the best-of-five match. Between rounds, the knot returns to the middle.
Entry costs are shown before you start. Arcade points are separate from in-game scores and resources. Check the available play and continue options on this page.
