About Pong

Pong makes the next return more interesting than simply following the ball. The place where the ball meets your paddle changes its angle, letting you send it away from the opposing paddle. Keep your own movement controlled while watching the rebound, then choose whether to return safely or aim for an edge hit that creates a harder shot.

Your goal: Win the match by scoring seven points before the other side.

Devices and phone layout

Phone playablePhone: Landscape

Computers are supported. Phone orientation is a recommendation; rotation is never required.

Practice against AI or play together on one device. Drag on your separate paddle pad or your half of the court; local play gives both players a pad.

Pong tips

  • Move toward the ball's expected paddle-height crossing before it reaches your side.
  • Use paddle-edge hits to change the angle and make the next return less predictable.
  • Return toward a central position after a shot so you can respond to either rebound.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Following the ball's current height without considering its wall rebound.
  • Overmoving the paddle when a small adjustment would keep the return under control.

Questions about Pong

Can I play alone?

Yes. Choose AI practice, or choose Local two-player to share the device. The practice opponent has a movement speed limit.

Which controls do the players use?

The left player uses W and S; the right player uses Up and Down. Touch players can drag up and down on separate Blue and Orange paddle pads, or use their own half of the court. AI practice shows only the Blue pad; local play shows both. First to seven points wins.
