About Brick Breaker

Brick Breaker turns each paddle return into a choice of angle. A centered hit is predictable, while an edge hit can send the ball toward a brick that straight returns keep missing. Track the ball's downward path early, stay ready for wall rebounds, and clear the remaining bricks to move on to another level.

Your goal: Break every brick on each board while keeping the ball in play with your paddle.

Devices and phone layout

Phone friendlyPhone: Either orientation

Computers are supported. Phone orientation is a recommendation; rotation is never required.

Use Paddle slide outside the playfield to steer and serve, drag the paddle, or use the on-screen buttons.

Brick Breaker tips

  • Move toward the expected landing point before the ball reaches paddle height.
  • Use a paddle-edge return when you need to reach bricks far from the ball's current path.
  • Watch the last wall rebound instead of following only the ball's first downward direction.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Overcorrecting the paddle after the ball has already passed your intended return point.
  • Repeating nearly vertical returns when the final bricks need a wider angle.

Questions about Brick Breaker

How do I serve the ball?

Click or press Space to serve. On a phone, touch Paddle slide to serve and drag along it to move the paddle without covering the ball. Pointer, direct dragging and arrow controls also work.

What happens when a board is cleared?

A new level begins after every brick is removed. Dropping the ball costs one of three lives; restarting begins again at level 1.
