About Spot the Difference

Spot the Difference gives you two illustrated landscapes to compare at your own pace. A systematic scan works better than jumping between whichever objects stand out first. Look for changes in color, shape, size, and missing details, then click a confirmed difference in either scene. Careful observation matters because incorrect clicks add time to your result.

Your goal: Find all five differences between the two landscapes with the shortest total time.

Spot the Difference tips

  • Compare matching regions in order, such as sky, trees, buildings, and foreground.
  • Check an object's outline as well as its color; not every difference is a missing item.
  • Use a hint when a remaining detail is stopping your progress rather than clicking randomly.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Repeatedly clicking a difference that has already been marked.
  • Guessing at many small details and accumulating five-second penalties.
