Reversi is about keeping useful moves available, not simply owning the most pieces early. Every placement must enclose opposing pieces, and a single move can flip several directions. Look for stable corners and positions that limit the opponent's choices. A large early capture can be less valuable than a quieter move that improves your next turn.
Your goal: Finish with more pieces than your opponent when neither side has a legal move.
Computers are supported. Phone orientation is a recommendation; rotation is never required.

Your turn passes automatically if you have no legal move. The game ends when neither player can move, even if empty cells remain.
Yes. Every enclosed line in the eight surrounding directions flips. Highlighted dots show legal moves; Basic AI and local two-player modes are available.
Entry costs are shown before you start. Arcade points are separate from in-game scores and resources. Check the available play and continue options on this page.
