About Sokoban

Sokoban makes each push a commitment. Your player can walk around open floor, but a box only moves when you stand behind it and push it into another free square. Study the route a box needs before starting, especially near walls. Leaving room to get behind the box is often the key to finishing a compact level.

Your goal: Push every box onto a target without trapping a box away from its destination.

Computers are supported. Phone orientation is a recommendation; rotation is never required.

Use the touch direction buttons to move and push boxes. Undo is available.

Sokoban tips

  • Trace a box's path to a target and check where you must stand for every push.
  • Keep boxes out of corners unless that corner contains their final target.
  • Use Undo as soon as a push removes access to the side of a box you need.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Pushing a box against a wall before checking how it will leave that wall.
  • Filling an easy target with a box that blocks the route to another target.

Questions about Sokoban

Can I pull a box back?

No. You can push one box at a time, but you cannot pull or push two boxes together. Undo can reverse your previous steps.

How many levels are available?

This version includes three verified tutorial levels, ranging from a first single-box push to a more constrained two-box route.
