About Crystal Bastion

Crystal Bastion is a tower-defense challenge with time to plan before each wave. Building positions, tower types, and upgrades determine how long attackers remain under fire. Pair slowing effects with towers that benefit from repeated hits or clustered targets, and inspect the upcoming situation before starting another wave. Spending every coin on one tower can leave the rest of the route uncovered.

Your goal: Protect the crystal through eight enemy waves, including the final boss.

Computers are supported. Phone orientation is a recommendation; rotation is never required.

Tap foundations and use the build controls. The busy map and small tower pads are easier on a larger screen.

Crystal Bastion tips

  • Choose building pads where enemies spend a long time within tower range.
  • Combine frost slowing with cannon splash damage to make grouped enemies easier to stop.
  • Upgrade or reposition your plan between waves before pressing the next-wave control.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Starting another wave before spending available resources on needed defenses.
  • Using only one tower type and leaving fast or armored enemies insufficiently covered.

Which tower types can I build?

There are arrow, cannon, and frost towers. Select a building pad to choose a tower, then upgrade or sell it as your plan changes.

Do waves start automatically?

You start the next wave when ready with the mission control or Space. Q uses the frost-wave spell when available.
