About Citadel Archer

Citadel Archer combines aimed shooting with room to retreat. Charging an arrow improves the attack you are preparing, but enemies continue to approach while you draw. Use cover to buy that time, dodge when the melee line gets too close, and choose between a quick shot and a fuller charge based on the immediate danger.

Your goal: Survive four attacking waves and defeat the final boss while protecting your health.

Devices and phone layout

Computers are supported. Phone orientation is a recommendation; rotation is never required.

Use touch movement, quick-fire and dodge. On the separate Aim and charge pad, hold to charge, drag to aim and release to fire. Pausing discards the charge.

Citadel Archer tips

  • Begin charging from cover rather than standing still in an open enemy firing line.
  • Keep enough room behind you to dodge when a melee attacker approaches.
  • Choose between-wave upgrades to address the attacks that are causing the most trouble.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Holding a long charge while an enemy closes the final distance to your position.
  • Using a dodge early and finding it on cooldown when a dangerous attack arrives.

Questions about Citadel Archer

How do I choose a quick shot or a charged arrow?

Aim with the pointer, then hold and release to shoot a charged arrow. On a phone, the separate Aim and charge pad lets you hold, drag to aim and release while keeping the courtyard visible. Pausing or canceling discards the charge. Space or Fire makes a quick shot; Q or Dodge evades.

Are there upgrades during the battle?

Yes. You collect rewards and choose upgrades between waves. The run includes four waves, with a final boss.
