About Dune Runners

Dune Runners is a driving adventure where landing safely is part of moving quickly. Your rover's suspension reacts to dunes, bridges, and rough ground, while fuel and condition limit how carelessly you can drive. Ease off near a crest, balance the vehicle in the air, and use checkpoint supplies to extend a run before spending banked rewards in the garage.

Your goal: Reach the finish of each desert track while managing fuel, vehicle condition, and limited rescues.

Computers are supported. Phone orientation is a recommendation; rotation is never required.

Use touch throttle, brake, hop and turbo controls. Balance the rover in the air and leave room for the driving view.

Dune Runners tips

  • Release the throttle before a steep crest so the rover leaves the ground more predictably.
  • Adjust your pitch in the air and aim to land on both wheels.
  • Collect fuel and reach supply checkpoints before using long bursts of turbo.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Using turbo whenever it is available and arriving at the next section short of fuel.
  • Repeatedly landing on the nose or roof instead of controlling the approach angle.

Questions about Dune Runners

When can I buy garage upgrades?

Buy engine, suspension, and tank upgrades with banked coins before starting a race. Finish a track to bank its rewards; purchases are disabled while driving.

What happens when I use a rescue?

A rescue returns the rover to its last checkpoint and restores condition. Each attempt has a limited rescue supply, so it cannot recover every crash.
